Pink Goni

<div class="more_detail"> <p>In general, corals coming from the genus Goniopora have numerous corallites that are walled invidually. Each corallite has a polyp that is usually exposed and extended. Their polyps are usually long, has a daisy-like tips each having 24 tentacles and sways like a flower tube.</p> <p>As for the Pink Goni, they are predominantly colored pink. <p>The Pink Goni get its primary nutrition from the symbiotic zooxanthellae living within its tissue. But on top of this, we still recommend you do supplemental feeding by adding mysis and brine shrimp. Further, the additional of dissolved organics is highly recommended.</p>

<p>A mature tank is highly recommended in propagating Pink Goni. They should be set on the middle or bottom part of the tank.</p>

<p>The Pink Goni requires moderate to strong lighting and moderate waterflow.</p>

<p>The Pink Goni is susceptible to mortality caused by nutritional deficiencies. With this, the addition of supplemental nutrition and nutrients is highly recommended.</p>

<p>The Pink Goni can be found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean, particularly in the Philippines and Indonesia. They are listed as a vulnerable species under Appedix II of the CITES list.</p>

<p>The Pink Goni has an aggressive behaviour and may require adequate spacing in relation to other corals in the tank.</p>

<p>The Pink Goni is purely marine. So, therefore, salinity must be maintained thoroughly at 1.023 to 1.025 s<span class="subListHeading1">pecific gravity.</span></p>

<p>The Pink Goni have long sweeper tantacles and may sting nearby corals.</p>
