They grow to a maximum size of about three inches so they do not get that long, they get fat. Another thing about them is their personality. These guys are big on finding caves that they like and hanging out by in your tank, and whenever it comes time to eat they'll come and eat right, and then they'll kind of chill back down by their cave. They're not super active fish that will run back and forth. Colors like I said, they're purple and yellow. They also have a great personality and make for a good addition to marine aquariums.
What Do Royal Gramma Eat?
Royal Gramma are carnival, so make sure you're feeding them high protein food like frozen meaty foods and even some flake and pellet foods. Feeding them a good variety of foods will help keep your Royal Gramma healthy.
Royal Gramma Compatibility
If you want to pair of Royal Gramma in your aquarium it should be fine you can keep multiples Royal Gramma in your tank. Just watch out because they could become aggressive, just keep them well-fed, and they won't fight.
Is Royal Gramma Aggressive?
A lot of people will get a Royal Gramma as their first fish in their tank. They are a better option than getting a damselfish which can be overly aggressive or a Gramma could be a good alternative to a clownfish. So that's another thing to think of whenever you want something new to add to the tank that isn't going to be aggressive towards your fish like a damsel.
