<p>In general, mushroom corals coming from the genus Ricordea have a small and rounded body with berry shaped tentacles. Both sides of the Ricordea Mushroom Corals are functional where the bottom part acts as a locomotive mechanism while the top portion acts like a mouth.<br /><br />They are known to move to a different spot in the tank to find better lighting. <p>In the wild, Rainbow Hellfire Yuma has developed a symbiotic feeding relationship with marine algae called zooxanthellae that are living within their tissues. But in captivity, you have to feed them with nanoplankton and you may add dissolved organics in the water.</p>

<p>A mature tank is highly recommended in propagating Rainbow Hellfire Yuma. They must be set at the bottom of the tank to simulate their natural wild environment.</p>

<p>The Rainbow Hellfire Yuma requires moderate lighting and moderate water flow.</p>

<p>The Rainbow Hellfire Yuma has semi-aggressive behavior. Proper spacing must be observed in relation to other coral species in the tank.</p>

<p>The Rainbow Hellfire Yuma is a marine species. Therefore, salinity must be maintained thoroughly at 1.023 to 1.025 s<span class="subListHeading1">pecific gravity.</span></p>

<p>Rainbow Hellfire Yuma has stinging tentacles on the edge of their discus that they will use to sting nearby corals. This is why mushrooms are sometimes called mushroom anemonies.</p>
