5. Pea-Puffer
You can keep one Pea-Puffer per 3-gallon. But three in a 10-gallon tank could work and so can one in a 5-gallon tank. They need frozen food, so never go to dry foods. But if you want an action-packed personality fish in your plant-safe tank, a Pea-Puffer will be the best fit for you, and anyone who sees it will fall in love with it.
You instantly become cooler the minute you own a Pea-Puffer; not only you but everyone that ever sees you will be like, are you the person with Pea-Puffer? They don't get too big. They get about the size of a pea, hence the name.
They are hardcore carnivores. They wanna eat frozen blood-worms. They don't have tooth problems so, they can eat their whole life. It s good to put some variety. Some brine shrimps and some Mysis and some snails. Yes! they will eat snails too.
4. Exclamation Point Rasbora
Another Rasbora, micro, that gets about an inch or an inch and a half. They have a dot on a tail with a line, hence the exclamation point. They get a nice little orange hue to them which looks so nice and subtle in a small tank against a backdrop of some live plants.
Keep them in a group of six or more. They are not too expensive, 2-3 bucks apiece. If it is a big tank if you want that scaled-down, then this is a great group to have a bunch of fish. Even if you have a 10-gallon tank, you can put about, 30-40 of these in there, and they look amazing.
3. Pygmy Corydoras
Besides snail, these guys are one of the best clean up crew you could have in your tank. These fishes are so, personal that you could have a group of them in your nano tank. They will perch on top of your sponge filter or your plant. They only get about inch-and-a-half.
They don't have meany bone in their body. They are not very colorful or flashy. But if you could have them on a desk, when you are working and you will fall into love with them. You can combine them with any other nano fish, If you get a catfish, it's not gonna harm anything. Keep them in a group of six or more because they like to be a group. They are very social, they are so cute.
2. The Golden White Cloud
Even if they are not super nano, they do good in nano tanks. They are crazy hardy, have a lot of colors, and you can breed them in a relatively small tank. They don't have a mean bone in the body. They are plant safe and they don't have to be heated.
So, a white cloud in nano tanks is a match made in heaven. It would be great in 5-gallon but all aquarium should be at least 5-gallons. You go much smaller than that, you really gotta be careful.

They are also known as Chilli Rasboras. They get super bright red, they stay really small. They do great in 5-gallon or maybe even less.
Keep them in a group of 6 or more; schooling fish relatively cheap. You can them one at 3-4 buck. They look really cool, it just puts scale to everything.
