Albino Angel is an Angelfish which are white or silver with a yellowish orange ring color around their eyes, and their eyes are red. The Albino Angel can reach a maximum size of 6 inches.
They tend to be a semi-aggressive fish species and require optimum water quality. The water temperature should be between 75-82°F and pH should be 5.5-7.0. The Albino Angel should not be kept in an aquarium smaller than 30 gallons.
Albino Angelfish Diet & Nutrition
The Albino Angel are omnivores. Hence, they enjoy eating vegetables and invertebrates such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, mosquito larvae and tubifex worms. They should be fed a variety in their diet.
Determining Sex of Albino Angelfish
It is tough to determine the sex. Usually, females tend to be thicker while males are thinner and taller than the female one.
Breeding & Spawning Albino Angelfish
To spawn for the first time, the Albino Angel should be at least 2 inches (5 cm). With the proper diet and good management practices spawning can happen when the fish is 8 - 12 months. The Albino Angels are eggs laying species. So, when they have optimum conditions, they lay eggs on any vertical surface. The parents will guard their eggs. To protect the eggs, it is suggested to remove all other fish including none parent Angelfish from the tank.
